Sunny day in Zürich

Vuoden loppu on usein kivaa lomailun aikaa. Minä palasin joulun jälkeen kahdeksi päiväksi töihin, mutta sitten perjantai-iltapäivällä startattiin auto kohti Sveitsiä, määränpäänä Zürich. Tarkoituksena on siis tehdä pieni road-trip Pariisi-Zürich-Milano uuden vuoden kunniaksi!  Tässä vähän tunnelmia Zürichistä lauantailta. Meillä kävi ihan älyttömän hyvä tuuri, sillä aurinko paistoi pilvettömältä taivaalta ja lämpöasteita oli mukavat +7 :). Suomen jälkeenhän tämä tuntui kuin olisi loikannut muutaman kuukauden eteenpäin suoraan kevääseen!

The end of the year is often nice time for the holidays. I returned to work for two days after Christmas but then on Friday afternoon we headed the car to the direction of Switzerland and the final destination was Zürich. The idea is to make a small roadtrip Paris-Zürich-Milan during the last days of the year. :)
Here some pictures from Zürich from Saturday. We were so lucky with the weather because the sun was shining from the blue sky and the temperature was nice +7 degrees! After Finland this feels like we have travelled few months further straight to the spring! :)

Moments of my Christmas

On kyllä pakko myöntää, että minun jouluni alkoi oikeasti vasta kun pääsin Suomeen. Sitä vain tarvitsee ympärilleen sen oikean tunnelman joulumieltä varten; lumisen maiseman, tutut joulukoristeet, perinteiset joululaulut, saunan ja rakkaat ihmiset ympärille! Siinä se joulu sitten onkin! <3

As a girl from the north, it doesn't really feel like Christmas unless I have the snowy landscape around me. But for the real Christmas feeling, I need also the old Christmas decorations, the traditional Christmas carols, the Christmas sauna and all the loved ones around me! That's what Christmas is all about! <3

Noël á Paris

Pariisin ostosikkunoita katsellessa ei jää epäselväksi mikä sesonkiaika on meneillään... :) Teimme viime viikolla ihailukierroksen yhtenä iltana myöhään, kun kadut olivat jo hiljentyneet. Jouluikkunat olivat tänä vuonna aivan huikeita, joten varoituksen sanana; kuvia on ja paljon! :)

Guess which season is going on...? Hih! :) Last week late in the evening, when the streets were already quiet, we did a tour around the nicest windows in Paris. They were pretty cool this year, so as a small warning; there is a lot (and I really mean A LOT) of pictures! :)

Gallerie Lafayettessa ikkunat olivat tänä vuonna Louis Vuittonin ja eläinteemalla mentiin / In Gallerie Lafayette the windows were full of extremely chic animals with all the Louis Vuitton accessories.

Tämä tanssiastunnelma löytyi Gallerie Lafayettin miesten osaston ikkunasta. / This prom feeling you can find from the window of Gallerie Lafayette Homme.

Printempsin ikkunat olivat tänä vuonna omistettu Diorille. / The windows of Printemps had a touch from Dior.

Isojen ostoskeskusten lisäksi käytiin bongailemassa myös muiden liikkeiden ikkunoita. / Additionally for the big shopping malls we went to see also some other shops. 

...ja sitten tietty vielä nuo jouluvalot Champs-Élyséellä. / ...and of course the christmas lights in Champs-Élysées.
